MILWUAKEE (CBS 58) -- Another reckless driver killed two people Sunday morning, May 5, around 2:45 a.m.

At the intersection of West Lincoln Ave and 19th, residents are seeing a big spike in reckless driving.

Milwaukee police are looking for what neighbors say was a white SUV that hit and killed two people standing next to a parked car.

"I heard a crash; I heard people screaming ... the next thing I know squad cars are here and I hear people got killed," said a south side resident.

Names have not been released, but a 41-year-old and a 39-year-old were hit, and the driver left the scene.

"Am I going to get hit today? Am I going to be able to make it home? I think we should really lock down on the reckless driving," said Gilbert Comdohr who witnessed the crash.

Residents in the area say this is nothing new

"This isn't the first time it happened down here, on 20th I witness a kid get hit by a car on a bike and my dad had to come and help him before paramedics came," Comdohr explained.

If you have any information on the driver that hit and killed the two people, contact the Milwaukee Police or to remain anonymous contact Crime Stoppers at 414-224-tips
