Extended Overnight Closure of I-41/US-45 South Starts This Weekend

Plan ahead if your drive takes you near the Zoo Interchange this weekend.  An extended overnight freeway closure of I-41/US-45 southbound at Watertown Plank Rd. starts the night of Saturday September 10th at 10pm and if weather is favorable, is set to reopen by the early afternoon on Sunday September 11th.

This closure is necessary so crews will be able to set girders for the new I-94 westbound to I-41/894 southbound ramp through the Zoo Interchange.

During this extended closure drivers should use Hwy 100 as an alternate until the roadway reopens.  Expect slow conditions along this route during peak hours and be sure to plan ahead.
