Eight straight: Brewers win again, cap perfect road trip

Taylor Jungmann allowed one run over eight innings, and Gerardo Parra and Adam Lind homered, as the Brewers beat the Reds 6-1 Sunday in Cincinnati, capping a three-game sweep and an undefeated week-long road trip.

Jungmann was perfect through four innings and held the Reds scoreless until the eighth. Neal Cotts came on and threw a scoreless ninth to finish the game.

The Brewers biggest hits came in the seventh with the home runs from Parra and Lind. Milwaukee finished the road trip with 99 hits, and went undefeated in a road trip of seven or more games for only the second time in franchise history.

The eight game win streak is the longest for the Brewers since April of 2014. Atlanta comes to Miller Park the next three days for the Brewers' shortest homestand of the 2015 season.
