Dodge Co. Sheriff seeks pick-up truck driver for hit-and-run

TOWNSHIP OF HUSTISFORD, Wis. - The Dodge County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help finding the driver of a pick-up truck on South Highway 60 near CTR in the Township of Hustisford.

It happened at 8:34 p.m. 

Police say a motorcycle traveling eastbound was sideswiped by a pick-up truck that was merging lanes. 

The operator and passenger of the motorcycle were both thrown from the vehicle. Neither were wearing helmets.

The truck fled the scene and was last seen continuing eastbound on South Highway 60.

The driver was taken by ambulance to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries, and the passenger was airlifted to a hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

The pick-up truck is described as a Ford Super Duty truck, white or silver, possibly a 3/4 ton, side mirrors with marker lights, and as a newer model.

Anyone who witnessed the accident or who may have any information is asked to contact the Dodge County Sheriff's Department.
