Delorean Bryson sentenced for killing George Webb cook

MILWAUKEE -- 28-year-old Delorean Bryson has been sentenced to 42 years in prison and 8 years of extended supervision for killing a George Webb cook on December 20, 2013.
Court documents say Bryson shot and killed 21-year-old Reggie Evans, a cook at the George Webb Restaurant near N. Oakland and E. Locust St. On December 20, 2013, several customers became unruly inside the restaurant, and a waitress asked them to leave. The group became more agitated, and Evans intervened.
That's when Bryson left the restaurant and returned with a gun. He shot and killed Evans who died at that restaurant.
\"I want to express I'm very remorseful. I never intended to kill that guy,\" Bryson told the judge. \"And whatever time I get, I'm asking for help.\"
Judge Timothy Dugan noted that the defendant acts as if nothing is ever his fault.
\"At trial you tried to convince the jury that you were so drunk and high you don't remember what happened,\" Judge Timothy Dugan told the defendant. While noting he seemed clear on so many other details that helped his defense. \"Certainly it proves you're untruthful.\"
A letter was read in court from the victim's mother saying relatives need long term therapy to cope with the loss.
Restaurant Owner Tom Aldridge remarked how he began as a cook and Evans was doing all the right things while Bryson did the opposite.
