MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – Lawyers for former Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke were in a federal courtroom Tuesday morning preparing for the start of a civil rights trial next week.
CBS 58’s cameras spotted the plaintiff in the case, Daniel Black, walking out of the courthouse alone. On Monday, a jury trial will get underway to hear Black’s claim that Clarke violated his civil rights.
The incident is related to a confrontation at Mitchell Airport in 2017, followed by a “taunting Facebook post” where the Sheriff called Black a “snowflake.”
