Child Shot on North 20th Street

Milwaukee Fire Department has confirmed one child was shot on North 20th Street at 3:55 PM.
The child was taken to Children's Hospital.
Milwaukee Police are investigating what is believed to be accidental shooting that happened on Wednesday, September 21st, around 3:50 p.m. in the 2700 block of N. 20th Street. A 9-year old Milwaukee male, was shot by a juvenile family member while inside the family’s home. The victim suffered a serious injury and was transported to a local hospital. The investigation into how the gun was obtained by the juvenile is ongoing and investigators remain on the scene.
