Cedric the Entertainer is an original King of Comedy but his newest production aims to tackle an issue that hits close to home, race relations.
Recently, the Hollywood icon who’s been a fixture of comedic film and television for decades visited Milwaukee to promote his new series The Neighborhood which is set to debut on CBS October 1st. The situation comedy touches on a sensitive subject with its premise of a white family moving into a predominantly black neighborhood. The comedy follows members of the family and the existing neighbors as they learn about each other and grow.
On CBS 58 Sunday Morning, Cedric sat down exclusively with Amanda Porterfield for a chat about the new show, his Milwaukee connections, and his career on stage.
