MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee has quite a diverse lineup of events ahead across the area, and to help get prepared, Joe Krauss of B93.3 FM joined us on Friday, Jan. 26 for a sneak peek.
Geneva National Resort & Club is transforming into an Arctic Village with the launch of Winter Realms on Friday. Visitors can explore ice caverns, slides and sculptures from Jan. 26 to Feb. 11. The setup includes horse-drawn wagon rides and tubing activities, celebrating the winter season.
The Milwaukee Public Museum is kicking off CANstruction, showcasing sculptures made entirely of canned foods. These structures, crafted by local architecture, engineering and construction leaders, aim to combine creativity with community service. The cans that make up the sculptures will even be donated to a local food pantry.
In Franklin, Bricks & Minifigs will host a grand opening on Rawson Avenue at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 27 This new destination for LEGO fans offers buying, selling and trading of new and used LEGO items, with the first 100 guests receiving a free custom minifig.
Bucks fans can celebrate Bango's 46th birthday at the Milwaukee Bucks and Cleveland Cavaliers game on Friday night at 7 p.m. The game includes a special bucket cap giveaway, with the cap "designed by Bango."
