CBS 58 Exclusive: Alleged rapist Jermarro Dantzler had group home, teens allege inappropriate relationships

"It's like he asked questions that normal adults wouldn't ask kids, like what things do you do sexually, what's your sexual preference, are you a top, are you a bottom, do you give, do you receive?"

Years before Jermarro Dantzler was caught in an alleged sexual assault of a 15-year-old boy in a vacant Brown Deer parking lot.

He was allegedly having graphic talks and inappropriately touching teens in his Milwaukee north side group home "Rights of Passage."

"He would always rub my arm, or grind up against me or something like that."

The victim we talked to didn't want to show his face, fearing retaliation from the man he says had big money and was very intimidating in his time spent at the home in 2010 and 2011. Two years later, a then 15-year-old who goes by “Iman Chanel” would have some of the same experiences.

"He would take me shopping, spend so much money on me, pick me up from house parties," the now 17-year-old said.

Chanel admitted to having a sexual relationship with a staff member, who was also Dantzler’s friend when he was 15. When he told Dantzler, he urged him to keep quiet.

"Don't tell no one, go upstairs and act like nothing ever happened, but first before you go upstairs, I wanna know, how did you do this? How did he go inside you?"

Chanel says the home was investigated by police several times for allegations of physical abuse and sexual assault, but the boys were always bribed

"They'd put all us guys in a room and say hey guys, if you guys don't say this, y'all gone all get closed down, and y'all ain't gone have nowhere to go," Chanel said.

CBS 58 reached out to the Department of Children and Families. The group home has been under investigation since 2014. Dantzler's license was revoked in April for spending money inappropriately, but the home was still operating while on appeal. DCF shut it down and removed the children after word of his arrest. We went to Dantzler's home for comment, and even though cars were in the driveway, no one answered.

Dantzler has not been charged in these allegations, but he is being investigated. He has a court hearing for the rape of the 15-year-old Thursday.

Police believe more victims are out there. They urge those who know anything to report it to authorities.
