Car breaks down on freeway, three men arrested

RACINE, WI (CBS 58) -- A 40-year-old Kenosha man found walking along an I-94 frontage road in Racine County has been taken into custody and charged with Operating While Intoxicated for the fifth time.   According to the Racine County Sheriff’s Office, when stopped on the east frontage road near State Highway 20, the man said that his car had broken down on the interstate and that he and two other men had walked away from the car.  The man also admitted to being drunk.  After it was determined his blood alcohol level was .18 he was taken to the Racine County Jail where he is being held on a $5,000 bond.

The two other men, both from Kenosha, were found at a nearby gas station.   They too were intoxicated.   One of the men was taken into custody for a probation violation, while the other was wanted for two active warrants.    He was arrested and is in the Racine County Jail on a $1,216 bond.
