Burning brush causes fire to house in Racine

RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Racine Fire Department was called to a home in the 1500 block of Crabapple Drive for burning brush that caught a house on fire.

It happened around 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Fire damage was contained to the exposed basement and sunroom. Roughly $60,000 in damages was reported.

The only resident exited the home prior to crews arrival. They were not injured.
