Brewers promote Regis Bane to Vice President of Ticket Services

Milwaukee Brewers promoted Regis Bane to Vice President of Ticket Services and Analytics.
Bane is entering his ninth season with the Brewers after joining the organization on May 7 as director of ticket operations. He was promoted to senior director of ticket operations in January 2012 and served in that role until this promotion.

“Regis is a valued member of our management team, and we have relied on his expertise in areas that reach far beyond his role in ticket operations,” said Chief Operating Officer Rick Schlesinger. “We congratulate him on this promotion and know that his skills will serve us well as we continue to advance our efforts in research through market analytics.”

In his new role, Bane will continue to oversee ticket services, and will focus on the development of strategic, tactical and analytical planning to support consumer marketing and ticket sales. He will oversee the ticketing specific business intelligence enhancements to technical infrastructure relating to CRM, the ticket sales consumer database, ticket analytics, the ProVenue ticketing software, third party ticketing partners, data mining and project management to support ticket sales and marketing initiatives.

“I am truly honored to be a member of the Milwaukee Brewers organization and the Milwaukee community,” said Bane. “I look forward to continuing to lead a talented team of ticket services and data analytics professionals. Our objective is to ensure that we best support the collaborative efforts of the organization to consistently meet our goal of providing all Brewers fans with one of baseball’s best consumer experiences.”

In addition, Bane will be responsible for overseeing large non-baseball special events at Miller Park, including concerts and sporting events.

“Miller Park is not just a great place for baseball, it’s a terrific venue for hosting a wide variety of events,” Bane said. “With the success we have seen with concerts like Kenny Chesney, Paul McCartney and One Direction, plus the recent international soccer matches, I look forward to bringing more world-class events to Miller Park in this role.”

Prior to joining the Brewers, Bane spent four seasons with the Cleveland Indians in various roles in ticket operations and services. He also has experience with SMG Management, the Cleveland Cavaliers and Pittsburgh Pirates, where he helped the transition of the ticket services and operations department from Three Rivers Stadium to PNC Park.

A native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Bane graduated from Bethany College in West Virginia with a bachelor’s degree in communications. He and his wife, Kate, reside in Menomonee Falls.
