Brewers come up short in homestand finale

MILWAUKEE - Yovani Gallardo allowed two home runs and the Brewers had trouble solving Twins starter Samuel Deduno in a 6-4 loss Tuesday night at Miller Park.

Ryan Braun hit a deep fly ball in the bottom of the ninth, a blast that would have tied the game had it left the park, but it stayed in the yard for a sacrifice fly.

Martin Maldonado had an RBI single for the Brewers.

A fan fell into the Brewers bullpen before the start of the eighth inning. Before the game ended, the Brewers announced that the fan was conscious and alert and was being transported to Froedtert Hospital.
