Brewers break scoreless streak but drop to 3-15

The Brewers finally put up their first runs of the weekend series in the eighth inning, but still lost 5-3 to the Cardinals Saturday to drop their record to 3-15.

Adam Lind started the scoring with an RBI single in the eighth, and Aramis Ramirez drove in two more runs later that inning, but the Brewers still fell short despite Adam Wainwright's leaving the game after four inning. Wainwright injured his ankle while hitting in the top of the fifth.

Wily Peralta gave up just two runs over six innings, while striking out four. Will Smith and Jeremy Jeffress combined to allow the Cardinals other three runs.
