Body of missing Racine fisherman found in Michigan

RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The body of a missing fisherman from Racine is found on the other side of Lake Michigan more than a month after he disappeared.

Racine Police say 59-year-old Daniel Sprecksel never returned home after fishing by the North Pier on October 13. All that was found at the location was his fishing gear. Then on November 14, Michigan State troopers were called to the Lake Michigan Shoreline in South Haven for a body in the water. There were no signs of injury or trauma.

Anyone with information or who may have seen Sprecksel fishing that day is asked to call Racine Police.
