Badgers win again on Senior Day, join Big Ten logjam

Bronson Koenig scored 19 points as the red hot Wisconsin Badgers won again, 68-57 over Michigan on Senior Day at Kohl Center in Madison Sunday.

Koenig was one of four Badgers who scored in double figures on the afternoon. Nigel Hayes, Vitto Brown, Ethan Happ and Koenig scored a combined 61 of Wisconsin's 68 points.

Wisconsin honored its lone senior Jordan Smith prior to the game, and Smith entered in the final minute to an ovation from the Badgers faithful. Smith grabbed a loose ball for a defensive rebound, got fouled, and hit two free throws to the delight of the crowd in Madison.

The win, combined with Iowa's loss to Ohio State, puts six teams within a game of each other in the conference standings. Michigan State, Iowa, Maryland and Wisconsin have matching 11-5 conference records, followed closely by Ohio State (11-6) and Purdue (10-6).
