Alderman Giving Away Courtside Seats to Bucks Game to Homeowners with the Most Festive Display

Alderman Khalif J. Rainey invites residents to get into the spirit of the holidays with the 7th Aldermanic District Christmas Display Contest.

In the press release, Rainey said homeowners who have decked out their homes with lights, decorations and other festive fare can submit their entry to the Alderman’s office for a chance to win two courtside seats to a Bucks game and a free dinner in the 7th Aldermanic District.

“Driving around the neighborhood the other night, I was taken aback by how enthusiastically some residents have decorated their homes this year,” Alderman Rainey said. “Some folks really go all out for the holidays, and their energy is contagious. I’d like to take this opportunity to recognize some of the best holiday displays in my district, because they really do help instill a sense of pride in the neighborhood.”

Entrants in the contest should email [email protected] and provide the following: name of entrant, address, phone number, email and photos of the holiday display—or a web link to video of the holiday display.

Entries should be received by the close of business on Monday, December 19. Alderman Rainey and his staff will announce a winner on Thursday, December 22, share the winning display on his Facebook page and present the winner with a token of their achievement and the prize package.
