Off duty firefighters and passing doctor save victim from rollover crash

All lanes of I-41 south reopened around 4:00 PM Saturday afternoon after an earlier crash had closed them. At 10:40 AM Germantown Fire and Police were dispatched to the rollover crash on I-41 south just south of Holy Hill Road.

On person was trapped inside the car unconscious with critical injuries. Firefighters were able to get the victim out of the car with help of two off duty Racine Firefighters and a doctor that were nearby.

Flight for Life responded and the patient was taken to Froedtert Hospital.
