4 Year-Old accidentally shoots himself; Mother arrested

A four year-old male child is in the hospital and his mother is in jail after Milwaukee Police say he shot himself with her handgun. According to inspector of Milwaukee police Michael J. Brunson Sr. the shooting happened  today around 1 pm, in the 4900 block of N. 60^th St.

The victim’s mother left her handgun in a location that was accessible to the child and the child accidentally shot himself. 

Officers arrested the mother and the case will be reviewed by the D.A.’S office later this week.
