16-year-old injured in Saturday night shooting

Milwaukee police are investigating after a 16-year-old male was injured in a shooting Saturday night.

The incident happened around 10:50 PM in the 2200 block of W. Auer Street.

The 16-year-old was taken to a local hospital for treatment of his injury and is expected to recover.

The are no suspects currently in custody.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting are still under investigation.
