Updated: MPD located and towed vehicle in connection to deadly hit-and-run near 16th and Canal

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police said on Friday, Sept. 29 around 8:45 p.m. this car was located and towed by the Milwaukee Police Department.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Officials say they are now seeking a black 2022 Dodge Durango, with Wisconsin plate 20327AFT, in connection to a deadly hit-and-run Saturday, Sept. 23.

Police say the vehicle has damage to the front passenger side fender/hood. 

Occupants should be considered armed and/or dangerous. If located, police say do not approach, and call 911.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) --The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office identified 48-year-old Heidi Schneider of Milwaukee as the woman who was pronounced dead at the scene after a fatal collision that took place Saturday, Sept. 23.

The collision took place around 1:45 a.m. near 16th and Canal. According to police, Schneider was struck by a vehicle that did not stop. The collision is under investigation. 

Milwaukee police continue to seek unknown suspect(s).
