22nd annual Braille Games brings fun to Milwaukee Public Museum
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – "Go Bucks Go! Go Bucks Go!"
"I just want to see the Bucks. I'm so excited to even be here to help send them off," fan Lajodie James said.
Fans cheered and chanted as the Milwaukee Bucks arrived at Signature Flight Support airport to fly to Indiana for games 3 and 4 in the first round of the playoffs against the Pacers.
"It's really important for me to be here," 12-year-old fan Joah Thompson said. "I'm super excited that I missed school for this."
Thompson tells CBS 58 he was happy to see all of the players, but there is one who inspires him the most.
"I would say Marjon Beauchamp because I am Native American, and he is, and I think that is inspiring to me to play basketball and try harder," he said.
No matter who drove by fans were happy to give the team their well wishes.
"We gone bring it home. We gone bring it home. I believe in them. I know we are," James said. "It's exciting. Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in general, has a good fan base. So, I am excited."
DJ Shawna, the Grand Dancers and Bango were on hand to help hype up the crowd.
"The energy that's here is what we're going to have to have Game 5 when they come back, and I'm ready. I'm ready for that."
The Bucks play the Pacers at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
