Suspect in Greenville standoff found dead inside home

GREENVILLE, Wis. (AP) — A five-hour standoff in Greenville in which shots were fired ended when law officers found a man dead inside the home from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
WBAY-TV reports that officials with the Outagamie County Sheriff's Office responded to a domestic disturbance shortly before 4 p.m. Sunday. A 40-year-old woman was able to escape the home.
Authorities say a 48-year-old man fired a gun several times during the standoff but no one was hurt. Officers tried to contact the man by phone but received no response. They found his body about 9:15 p.m. His name wasn't immediately released.
