JANESVILLE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Congressman Bryan Steil cast his ballot Tuesday morning at a polling place in Janesville. He's encouraging other voters to do the same and take advantage of early voting and the good weather.
"I'm encouraging everyone to make a plan and get out and vote," Rep. Steil said. "It's all the better if you can do it early and bank the vote between now and Election Day."
The incumbent Steil is facing a challenge from Kenosha Democrat Peter Barco, who represented the first district in Congress in 1994 and 1994.
