MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Tuesday, Aug. 13 voters will decide the fate of two ballot referendums seeking to curtail Governor Tony Evers' powers. By tonight, Wisconsin's U.S. Senate race will officially be set for November.
While turnout is expected to be low, both parties have spent tens of thousands of dollars on advertising and invested a lot of time door knocking to try and educate voters on two statewide ballot proposals before voters.
Both ballot questions seek to amend the state constitution to limit Governor Evers' ability to spend federal funds without restrictions.
Tuesday's election will also be the first with the new voting maps.
Two key races are on the ballot this year in the 19th and 24th Assembly District.
Stick with CBS 58 on-air and online all day long for continuing election coverage.
