Passenger killed, driver injured in UTV crash in Wisconsin

TOWN OF NOKOMIS, Wis. (AP) -- Authorities in northern Wisconsin say a passenger on a UTV was killed and the driver was seriously injured in a crash over the weekend.
The Oneida County Sheriff's Office says the UTV left the road and struck a tree Saturday night in the Town of Nokomis.
The passenger died at the scene. The sheriff's office identifies the victim as 49-year-old Adam Rietz of Athens.
Authorities say the 47-year-old Weston woman who was operating the UTV was flown to a hospital in Wausau. The sheriff's office says she was intoxicated at the time of the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
