Northwestern University investigating drugging incidents

EVANSTON, Ill. (AP) — Northwestern University's Police Department has launched an investigation after several people were drugged without their consent at off-campus gatherings.

Friday's announcement comes just weeks after similar incidents at on-campus fraternity houses prompted the Evanston university to suspend all fraternity-related activities.

Neither the police department nor the university elaborated on the most recent incidents other than to say one of them occurred at the address of a non-Greek affiliated student organization.
