DA won't file charges over male enhancement brownies
Rock County District Attorney David O'Leary and Clinton Police Chief David Hooker issued a news release on Monday saying that three Clinton High School students made brownies, secretly laced them with Zyrexin, a male sexual enhancement herb. They gave the brownies to their classmates as a senior prank in May.
WISC-TV reported at the time that the brownies sickened five students.
The pranksters could have been charged with a felony but O'Leary said Monday that they never intended to hurt their classmates, they expressed sincere regret, apologized to the school, police and their fellow students and agreed to cover their sick classmates' medical expenses.
