Confrontation leads to fatal Beloit shooting

BELOIT, Wis. (AP) -- Police say a large confrontation led to a shooting in Beloit which left one man dead and two others injured.

WKOW-TV reports a 21-year-old Beloit man was shot and killed about 9:30 p.m. Monday. A 15-year-old boy and a 25-year-old man are hospitalized with at least one of them suffering a gunshot wound.

Investigators say the shooting resulted from an ongoing dispute and that those involved are acquainted.

The names of the two people shot and the homicide victim are not yet being released.
