WAUKESHA---Chief Meteorologist Mark McGinnis visited the Kindergarten classes at Meadowbrook Elementary Wednesday morning. The children learned about Wisconsin weather, the seasons and they were introduced to weather instruments. After the quick lesson they became Meteorologists for the Day.

With their new found skills, the children went outside to observe and take note of the weather.

Back in the classroom, they discussed why and how the weather impacts their lives. The children were great Meteorologists.

As a result of their hard work and great behavior, both classes made it on the 5pm newscast.
