Milwaukee Cancelling Thursday Evening Tornado Drill due to Bucks Game

This week is severe weather awareness week in Wisconsin. As a part of that week, a test tornado watch and warning will be issued on Thursday.
The mock tornado watch will start at 1:00 PM and the mock tornado warning will be issued at 1:45 PM. Both mock watch and warning will expire at 2:00 PM.
An additional mock tornado warning is scheduled for the entire state for 6:45 PM so families can practice there emergency procedures at home.
Milwaukee County has decided to not take part in the evening mock tornado warning due to the large crows expected for the Milwaukee Bucks playoff game which starts at 7:00 PM. The sirens will still sound in other communities and counties across the entire state of Wisconsin.
