MATC Displays Their "Habitats for the Holidays" Gingerbread Houses

Milwaukee Area Technical College students bring back “Habitats for the Holidays” this Christmas season.

These gingerbread houses are on display at the Milwaukee Public Market.

Each editable home is unique and some not necessarily about Christmas.

"They make up their own theme, we've had everything from Halloween to oh, just you name it, they are so creative, it's a really great project that they do and as you can see the detail that they do it's amazing," says Jill Nickerson the Culinary Director at the Milwaukee Public Market.

The gingerbread houses are available for purchase. The money will go to support MATC.

The public also has a chance to construct gingerbread houses Sunday, December 18 from 9 AM to 11:30 AM at the Milwaukee Public Market.

Proceeds from the event will go to Children’s Hospital.
