Man Arrested for Second OWI Blames state of Wisconsin for Drunk Driving

A man in Washington County blamed his two drunk driving incidents on the state of Wisconsin when he was pulled over by Washington County Sheriff’s Deputies.

According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the intersection of Hwy 175 and Hubertus Road on Sunday morning at 3:25 am for a single vehicle versus electrical pole accident.

We Energies also responded to the scene. The driver, a 23-year-old Village of Germantown man, was arrested for operation while intoxicated 2nd offense.

He refused alcohol testing and a search warrant was subsequently obtained for a blood draw.

During his arrest, the driver repeatedly blamed the State of Wisconsin for his two drunk driving incidents because the drinking culture in the State of Wisconsin gives him no other choice but to drink.
