Students Permitted Back into Franklin High School

UPDATE:  According to Franklin Police Department, after a thorough search, staff and students were permitted back in the school and classes resumed for the day.

ORIGINAL: The Franklin School District has emailed parents regarding an evacuation at  Franklin High School Wednesday morning.  

The email states, "Franklin High School has had an automated bomb threat - we are safely evacuating the building.  Please wait for more information - do not report to Franklin High School.” 

School officials say parents should not pick up their children.   The students have been moved to a location away from the school building.
