West Bend Police Plan to Sell Bicycles for $15 Each

West Bend Police Department will be selling its Spring 2016 inventory of approximately 80 abandoned and recovered bicycles on Saturday.

According to a release by West Bend Police, it will take place from 8:00 am to 10:30 am.

The bike sale will occur at the West Bend Police Department at 350 Vine Street (north side, between City Hall and the Mutual Mall).

Parking is available at City Hall, 1115 S. Main Street and on the roadway along Eder Lane, behind the City Hall building.

All bicycles will be sold for $15.00 which includes a City of West Bend Bicycle License which is required for all sales. The license is good for the life of the bike. Bicycles will be sold on a “first come, first serve” basis, and one bicycle per person.

The bicycles will be sold “AS IS” with “NO WARRANTY”. Bicycle sales are by cash only (no checks or credit cards accepted) and the bicycle must be removed by the purchaser from the Police Department immediately following its sale. All sales are final with a no return policy.
