Wisconsin State Fair Announces Lineup for Bank Mutual Amphitheater

Wisconsin State Fair officials are excited to announce the continuation of their multi-year partnership with Bank Mutual Corporation. Bank Mutual is the title sponsor of the Bank Mutual Amphitheater, the largest free entertainment venue at Wisconsin State Fair, and will also sell discounted State Fair Admission Tickets and Bargain Books at all of its branches across the state beginning May 2.

The Bank Mutual Amphitheater lineup will kick off on a high note on Thursday, August 4 with A Cappellooza, featuring Street Corner Symphony, Six Appeal, and Ball In The House. The first weekend will feature fair favorites Here Come The Mummies on Friday, August 5 and Saturday, August 6. The Kids From Wisconsin will perform each afternoon during the fair in addition to headlining on Sunday, August 7.

Monday, August 8 and Tuesday August 9, Grammy-nominated Alex Meixner Band will rock the amphitheater stage, followed by The LoveMonkeys 25th Anniversary Show on Wednesday, August 10. Another state fair staple, Herman’s Hermits starring Peter Noone will perform Thursday, August 11 and Friday, August 12.

Country music up-and-comers The Swon Brothers, along with Caroline Kole and Courtney Cole will take the stage on Saturday, August 13. The lineup will wrap up on Sunday, August 14 with a long-standing fair tradition - the Mr. & Ms. State Fair Physique Championships.

The stage will also feature a full lineup of family-friendly entertainment including hypnotist Lizzy - The Dream Girl, the annual State Fair Pom Pon Competition, comic juggler Alex Clark, Divas through the Decades and more!

Fairgoers can visit any Bank Mutual office May 2 - June 30 to purchase admission tickets for only $6 - offering 50 percent off the adult gate admission price during State Fair. Bank Mutual offices will also sell State Fair Bargain Books for $3, which offers 25 percent off the price during State Fair. Beginning on July 1, Bank Mutual offices will once again be the exclusive retail outlet for $9 State Fair Tickets. This offer will run through July 31.

The 2016 Wisconsin State Fair, presented by U.S. Cellular, will take place Thursday, August 4 – Sunday, August 14.
