Mount Pleasant Boy Named Wisconsin Hometown Hero

Speaker Robin Vos (R-Rochester) awarded a 9-year-old boy from Mount Pleasant the Wisconsin State Assembly’s highest citizen recognition award.

Jayden Jaramillo, a 4th grader from Trinity Lutheran School, was named a Wisconsin Hometown Hero at the beginning of the legislation session day on Tuesday.

Jayden is being recognized for his bravery and service last fall when he got help for his bus driver who was having an asthma attack.  He is credited for saving her life. Jayden is one of the youngest Hometown Hero award recipients to date.  He will be joined by his family on Tuesday and is available for interviews following the presentation.
