Kenosha Man Dies After Being Hit by Metra Train

On October 7 at approximately 5:38 PM, Kenosha County Dispatch received a call from Union Pacific Railroad indicating that a northbound Metra train had struck a pedestrian who was walking on the railroad tracks in the 7900 block just east of Sheridan Road.
Upon arrival, Kenosha Police and Fire personnel located the victim, 36-year-old Adam Richter of Kenosha, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause and manner of death have yet to be determined.
