Milwaukee Fire Department to install free smoke detectors for those in need today

After the tragic fatal fire that two children died in, the Milwaukee Fire Department will be going door-to-door in the neighborhood checking for working smoke detectors. 
This is part of Project FOCUS where the Milwaukee Fire Department installs free smoke detectors for those in need. 
The fire detectors will be installed around 11:00 AM.
Milwaukee Fire Department command staff will be available for a press conference in front of 9112 W. Allyn Street prior to the neighborhood sweep.
