Where There's Smoke, There's Fire, Allergies, & Asthma

If you’ve been dependent on those tissues lately, there’s probably a good reason.  Smoke from Canadian wildfires plus grass and tree pollen have played a doozy on our sinuses.
Although allergists say Monday’s rain and storms will help wash away some of the harmful pollutants and allergens. The good news is we’re in a lull of sorts.  All the intense spring pollen is done, but the late summer and early fall ragweed will pose problems soon enough.
There is new medicine, just approved by the FDA, to help allergy sufferers dealing with grass pollen or ragweed.  Shots and steroids are also good alternatives.  We have a couple of helpful allergy links attached to this story to possibly provide you some relief.
