"Peace through Paint" at One Milwaukee Community Garden

A north side Milwaukee neighborhood is full of vibrant color, and it's the collaborative work of not one artists but an entire community.

Seven paintings featuring various race issues adorn the “Rays of Sunshine Garden” at 24th Place and Keefe Avenue.  This is in addition to the eleven garden beds already on site for the last four years.

Many young creators have gotten the chance to shine with the project as well, adding their talents to the display.

Starting Saturday, June 20th and running for ten Saturdays, there will be a one hour “yoga in the garden” series, including at this particular location.
