Alderman Joe Dudzik dies after motorcycle crash

Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle accident that happened around 11:25 on Thursday night in the 7400 Blk of W. Morgan.

The victim was identified as 56-year-old, Milwaukee Alderman Joseph A. Dudzik of the 11th District.

Dudzik was operating his 2010 Harley Davidson motorcycle west bound on W. Morgan when he struck barricades warning of a construction site. He was transported to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries.

An autopsy report revealed that the alderman's blood alcohol level of .137.
