“This is not just about us sharing an arena together,” President Lovell said. “We've developed a strategic partnership with the Bucks.”

The facility, which will combine indoor playing fields for Marquette's lacrosse and soccer programs, an indoor track, and a world-class athletic performance research facility, will also allow the university to improve access to recreation and fitness facilities for all students. “It really is a new day at Marquette University,” added Lovell.

\"This is one and one equals three,\" Bucks President Peter Feigin told CBS 58 News, \"This is how do we create a facility and a research and development center instead of creating two because Marquette has the same vision we have.\"
