Police identify man killed in crash near 89th and Fond du Lac

Milwaukee police have identified the 51-year-old victim in a fatal single vehicle crash December 25 near N. 89th and Fond du Lac Avenue. 

Investigators say Stacey Bankhead was driving eastbound just before 2 a.m. when he crossed the center line, drove off the road and hit a tree. Bankhead, who was alone in the car, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities are awaiting results of toxicology testing to see if alcohol was a factor in the fatal crash.
