MLB suspends Colon

OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) -- One week after San Francisco outfielder Melky Cabrera was suspended 50 games by Major League Baseball for testing positive for testosterone, Oakland pitcher Bartolo Colon has received the same punishment for the same offense.

The former AL Cy Young Award winner and two-time All-Star was 10-9 with a 3.43 ERA this season for a team that began the day a half-game out in the AL wild-card race.
