LAKE FOREST, Ill. (AP) -- Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler expects a rib injury suffered against Detroit will not be a problem Sunday against the Carolina Panthers.

Cutler is still having some pain from the injury but thinks he will be able to throw the ball without trouble.

The Bears offensive line has struggled in the past protecting Cutler, but had allowed only five sacks over three weeks before Detroit sacked him five times Monday night.

There is still a question in the mind of teammate Brandon Marshall whether the sack by Ndamukong Suh that caused the injury was a clean football play. Cutler says he doesn't hold a grudge.
