Packers to recognize breast cancer awareness month at Oct. 6th game

GREEN BAY -- The Green Bay Packers is teaming up with Kohl's Department Stores in recognizing National Breast Cancer Awareness month at the October 6th game against the Detroit Lions. Lambeau Field and players will feature the color pink in several ways.

All apparel won at games by players and coaches, along with special game balls will be auctioned off at NFL.com/auction. Proceeds from the auction will go to the American Cancer Society and team charities.

Alumnae members of Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority are distributing more than 20,000 pink ribbons and breast cancer awareness information from 9:00 a.m. to noon in the Lambeau Field parking lots.
