Waukesha Catholic's Hubley, Homestead's Keel claim Associated Press Wisconsin 2012 prep honors

MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Matt Hubley was already an exceptional high school football player during his first three seasons at Waukesha Catholic Memorial before he elevated himself into The Associated Press Player of the Year in Wisconsin for 2012.

Hubley upped his already unreal dedication in the weight room and in conditioning. And then the running back-linebacker, a University of Wisconsin recruit, directed his motivation and frustration into a memorable senior season for the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association Division 3 champion Crusaders.

AP Wisconsin Coach of the Year honors went to Dave Keel of Mequon Homestead. He led the Highlanders to the Division 2 Championship.
