UWM falls to Loyola after 20-0 second half drought

by WDJT Sports

CHICAGO - Jordan Aaron had just sunk a shot to give UWM a 44-42 lead early in the second half. The Panthers had a path to a road win in Horizon League play, something they hadn't achieved all season.

Within a few minutes, the lead and the Panthers hopes had faded away.

Loyola rode a 20-0 second half run to a 76-65 victory Wednesday night in Chicago.

Austin Arians and Jordan Aaron scored 17 each for UWM (5-17, 1-7 Horizon League).
